An ORA dressing room begins with an inventory, not a layout — what hangs, what folds, what needs to be seen at six in the morning and what can wait. Everything after that is consequence. The proportions, the materials, the way a drawer closes. Nothing is standard, because nothing about your home is — and the same principle runs through every piece in the ORA Collection.
Each ORA dressing room begins as one of four architectural propositions — a framework with a point of view. From there it is shaped entirely around your space, your materials and what you actually own. Ours are made in our own 20,000 sq ft facility in Dubai Industrial City. The people who draw your dressing room work in the same building as the people who make it. A change to a shelf depth is a walk across the workshop floor, not a six-week lead time and a conversation about import duty.
It means we can build to your architecture rather than asking your architecture to accommodate a standard carcass size. Awkward ceiling heights, structural columns, a wall that is not quite square — these are ordinary problems here, not exceptions that cost extra. The same holds for our bespoke kitchens and media walls.
Beyond stone: solid hardwoods, hand-lacquered cabinetry, warm walnut veneer, brushed and antique metals, leather-lined drawers, softly diffused glass. Every element held to the same standard, seen and unseen — across dressing rooms, kitchens, media walls and living spaces.
No — and deliberately. This is not a showroom, it is a starting point. Nothing we make leaves the workshop standard, so a floor of finished dressing rooms would tell you very little about yours. We would rather meet you in your space, or show you the Dubai workshop where it will be made.
Modular and so-called custom wardrobes start with a fixed range of carcass sizes and finishes, then work out which combination fits your room. Bespoke starts with your room and what goes in it. Every dimension, every material, every internal configuration is drawn for that space and made once — you can see how that plays out across The Frame, The Axis, The Volta and The Terra.
They rarely are. Because we manufacture rather than assemble, building to a real wall instead of an ideal one is routine. It is one of the practical advantages of making things a short drive from where they are installed. The same applies to a fitted kitchen or a media wall built into an existing alcove.
